Story

Museums deserve better. That’s how it all started.

Tree’d grew out of something we kept seeing as visitors ourselves — people standing in front of an artwork with real questions, while the tools meant to help them just… didn’t. The curiosity was there; the technology wasn’t. We began R&D in 2023 and launched our product in 2025. We built, broke, rebuilt, and refined more versions than we can count. Tens of iterations, thousands of lines of code, and a team that cared enough to keep going. Tree’d is the result of that journey. And we’re just getting started.

Purpose

A new standard for museum audio guides.

Tree’d was founded to help museums meet the expectations of today’s visitors. AI has transformed countless industries, yet culture-tech still relies on static, one-way audio guides that haven’t evolved in years. We set out to change that in a way that preserves what makes museums special: focus, calm, and an uninterrupted connection to the collection.

Foundations

Our compass is pointing towards deeper cultural exploration.

Every choice we make comes from the same place: a desire to deepen the way people connect with culture. These are the principles that keep us moving forward.

Our Commitment

Culture isn’t static — and museum experiences shouldn’t be. We imagine a world where every visitor can explore as deep as they want, ask as many questions as their curiosity takes them, and connect more with cultures they see. Tree’d exists to make that possible — across languages, borders, and generations.

Our Mission

To build, develop, and implement intuitive, multilingual solutions that enable museums to offer more immersive, engaging experiences.

Our Vision

To make culture and history exploration feel personal, everywhere.

Values

Shaped by culture, driven by culture.

Our values are the foundation of everything we build. They’re the standards we hold ourselves to — how we design, how we write, how we test, and how we show up in the spaces we serve. These principles guide every decision, from how the handset feels in the hand to how our AI answers a visitor’s question.

Curiosity Comes First

Questions are where the experience begins. Tree’d is built to reward curiosity — whether it's from the visitor in a gallery or a designer on our team.

Build with Intent

Tree’d works in spaces where silence matters and distraction isn’t an option. That’s why we build with care; every detail must serve the overall visitor experience.

Respect Over Disruption

We believe, in this space, the best ideas don’t announce themselves. We build intuitive, powerful products that are understood in seconds, not explained in steps.

Simple Yet Powerful

We design with immense respect for cultural spaces and the stories they hold. Tree’d exists to nurture the visitor exhibit relationship and never interrupt it.

Team

Driven by culture, built by passionate people.

We’re a team of engineers, designers, and cultural researchers working between Amsterdam and Cairo. We come from different backgrounds, but we all share the same desire to make exploring culture more personal and immersive than it has ever been. Everyone who touched Tree’d brought a perspective — technical, creative, or cultural — and the shared belief that museum tools should feel simple, respectful, and genuinely helpful.
